Fundamentals in Clinical Supervision

This session will focus on the learner acquiring (and remembering) foundational skills related to clinical supervision.  Content will include the understanding and importance of boundaries, consistency, trust, and structure to support supervisee growth and learning. Learners will engage in dialogue and activities to practice skills to enhance the delivery of clinical supervision.

This seminar is offered in person in Plymouth, MN. Unfortunately, we cannot offer the seminar virtually or CEUs for recordings at this time.

Participants will learn to apply concepts related to boundaries to support ethical practice and understand how identity and privilege impact learning. Topics covered include:

Presenter

Christina Haddad Gonzalez, MSW, LICSW is the Director of Student Support Services at Richfield Public Schools where she is responsible for the oversight of school social workers, outreach workers, school counselors, and student engagement specialists. As a licensed independent clinical social worker, she has provided play therapy, individual, and family therapy to families as well as supervise and lead programming supporting students and families. In nondirective child centered play therapy, the foundational belief is that “children have within them the inherent capacity to heal.” Christina utilizes this as a foundation for her work across ages, identities, and presentations.
